Homebuilding & Renovating Show smashes records for IDSystems
With a brand new 120sqm stand IDSystems had high hopes for the Homebuilding & Renovating Show at the NEC last weekend, but the show exceeded even those expectations to break records both for number of enquiries made and sales completed at the show.
With visitor numbers up overall at the show by 4%, IDSystems saw a 24% increase in customers visiting the stand, 30% increase in enquiries and an impressive 80% increase in sales completed at the show compared to previous years.
With a larger range of products than ever before the increase in enquires came not only for the award-winning bifold door and sliding door systems on the stand, but also for the eye-catching range of flat rooflights, front doors, windows, and gable end glazing that featured on the stand for the first time.
Speaking of the success, IDSystems Marketing Manager David Clarke was thrilled with the customer response, saying "The show was a huge success for us and fully justified our decision to increase the size of our stand. The feedback from customers was incredible, and that is reflected both in terms the number of enquires and the orders we took there and then over the four days.
"We had the same feedback time and time again from customers, that they like dealing with one company for all of their glazing requirements, and they want to work with a company that they know will deliver."
The IDSystems range included a large 6m wide theEDGE sliding door system which turned heads for customers, along with advanced features such as moveable corner posts, pocket sliders, glass-to-glass corners and integrated door and window systems.
"The visitors to the stand were brilliant, and we really appreciated their patience, for long periods of the first three days our staff were talking non-stop to customers throughout the day and we appreciated that customers were prepared to wait a few minutes to discuss their requirements with one of our project advisors.
"Our team were fantastic throughout and as always their product knowledge and advice was really appreciated and valued by customers. A lot of work went into the design, manufacture and construction of the stand behind the scenes, and the company owes a huge thank you to all of those involved", Clarke added.
